OVERVIEW
The Disc Golf Pro Tour returned to Des Moines in 2026 for the Discmania Challenge (DMC), continuing one of the sport’s longest-running tournaments. Celebrating its 36th edition and 22nd year as a PDGA A-Tier, the event once again showcased Pickard Park, designed by 5x PDGA Pro World Champion Juliana Korver, alongside the efforts of the Des Moines Metro Disc Golf Club and Tournament Director Ty Tannat. With a history dating back to the 2004 PDGA Pro World Championships, the DMC remained a fan and player favorite, bringing together elite pros and more than 300 Am and Age-Protected competitors from across the metro.

PICKARD PARK GOLD
Pickard Park Disc Golf Course is a renowned 18-hole course located in Indianola, Iowa. Known for its challenging layout, it features a mix of wooded areas, open fields, elevation changes, and water hazards, making it popular among both casual and competitive players. The course is set within the scenic Pickard Park, offering beautiful views and natural landscapes. With long fairways and varied terrain, it demands both technical skill and power.
