Jeff Spring

TOUR DIRECTOR

Jeff Spring is the CEO and Tour Director of the Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT). As a Vermont native and long-time outdoor recreation enthusiast, Jeff’s passion for disc golf took root during his 10-year tenure at Smugglers’ Notch Resort (Jeffersonville, VT) where he served as the as Director of the Ski & Snowboard School in the Winter and founder and director of the Resort’s Mountain Biking and Disc Golf Facilities and Programs in the Summer.

While at Smugglers’ Notch (Smuggs), Jeff led the effort to develop the resort into one of the sport’s top venues. Now, Smuggs is widely recognized as one of the world’s premier disc golf destinations, with two of the top-ten-rated courses in the World located on the mountainside property. Jeff has served as the Event Director for multiple Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) Pro Majors, including two World Championships hosted at Smugglers’ Notch since 2018. He continues to serve as the Event Director for several top-tier DGPT events each year.

Jeff’s involvement with the DGPT started at inception as he helped strategize with the founder of the Tour, Steve Dodge, for its launch in 2015. He then went on to serve as the Tournament Director of the Green Mountain Championship and the inaugural DGPT Championship in 2016. In 2017, Jeff began advising the DGPT and served as a liaison to the PDGA. After the DGPT was purchased by majority owner Todd Rainwater in 2019, Jeff was appointed to his current role and has led the Tour through a rapid period of expansion across the United States and into Europe.

Under Jeff’s leadership, the DGPT has become the Official Pro Tour of the PDGA and continues to raise the bar for professional disc golf events. Alongside an expanded tour schedule and staff roster, Jeff has overseen the development of the Tour’s dedicated live-streaming subscription service - Disc Golf Network (DGN) - which provides live broadcasts of DGPT and PDGA Pro Major events, as well as an expansion of media distribution to networks like ESPN and CBS Sports.

Now, Jeff leads the Tour’s executive team and long-term planning efforts. If he’s not in the office or on the course, you can probably find him in a Vermont forest skiing, hiking, or on his mountain bike.

Dominic DiFebo

PRESIDENT

Dominic DiFebo took the reins as President of the Disc Golf Pro Tour in February 2025, bringing a deep love for the game and a proven track record in leadership, finance, and community-building. Before joining the Pro Tour, Dominic spent nearly two decades managing investment portfolios and driving business development at firms like Brown Advisory and JPMorgan Chase. He's also no stranger to competitive sports — a multi-time powerboat racing national champion and former collegiate rugby captain, Dominic thrives in high-energy environments where strategy and teamwork matter most.
Off the course, Dominic has a strong passion for growing communities, having led successful multimillion-dollar capital campaigns and served on several nonprofit boards. A lifelong outdoorsman, he’s just as comfortable throwing a forehand as he is fishing, hunting, or snowboarding.

Dominic’s vision for the Pro Tour is simple: build on disc golf’s incredible momentum, elevate the experience for players and fans, and continue expanding the sport’s reach around the world. With his business expertise and competitive spirit, he’s ready to lead disc golf into its most exciting chapter yet.

Sean Jack

VP OF PARTNERSHIPS

Sean has worked for the Pro Tour since its inception in 2016. It was a dream come true when he was hired full-time in 2020. As of January 2024, the Tour has worked with partners like Bushnell, The Halal Guys, Barbasol, and, most recently, L.L.Bean. We could only have built the Tour into a global brand with the support of organizations inside and outside the sport.

Sean discovered disc golf while trail running at Borderland State Park in 2008, and the addiction took over immediately. After moving to the Bay Area and running several events for the San Francisco Disc Golf Club, he was thrilled to host the first DGPT event in CA. Known as the SFO, the event has since migrated to become the OTB Open in Stockon, CA. He loves playing Golden Gate Park DGC with his friends when he has free time.

If you know anyone or a company that wants to engage with the disc golf audience, please reach out to him: sean@dgpt.com.

Brian Cole

VP OF TOUR OPERATIONS

My current role as the VP of Tour Operations for the Disc Golf Pro Tour results from an unexpected journey through catering and events, volunteering as a local event director, competing as a player, and using considerable experience in the high-pressure and ever-evolving restaurant industry. In my time with the Disc Golf Pro Tour, I have seen our company expand in size and grow as a team and as a professional sport. I have traveled extensively and been a part of the Touring disc golf community for the past 5 years. I've always valued community and volunteering. For four years, I was the president of the Portland-based non-profit disc golf club Stumptown Disc Golf. During the off-season, I volunteer for Mt. Hood Ski Patrol on the weekends.

Baker Helton

VP OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Baker has been an integral part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) team since he first joined as the Digital Marketing Coordinator in 2020, initially coming on board after previously collaborating with the Tour as a freelancer. His tenure with the organization has been marked by a progressive climb through various positions, transitioning from the Marketing & Communications Manager to the Director of Marketing, and ultimately ascending to his current role as the Vice President of Business Administration. In this capacity, Baker operates in tandem with the CEO, Jeff Spring, serving as the Chief of Staff. His focus is centered on strategic planning and ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day activities.

Baker's fondness for disc golf was sparked at a young age, a passion that has consistently shone through. In 2016, he established the Southern Collegiate Disc Golf Association (SCDGA), an innovative endeavor that introduced a fresh perspective to collegiate disc golf. His professional involvement in the sport extends further, including his tenure with the Finnish disc golf manufacturer Prodiscus and his contributions as a freelance journalist to Ultiworld Disc Golf.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Baker's love for sports is also evident in his engagement with his local community. Leveraging his background as a former collegiate baseball player, he devotes his time to coaching high school baseball. In doing so, he is committed to cultivating the upcoming generation of athletes, underscoring the significance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual development.

Ty Tannatt

RETAIL AND PARTNERSHIPS DIRECTOR

Ty joined the DGPT in 2021 as Director of Retail. His connection to disc golf began in 2004 and grew stronger in 2018 when he founded Wander Disc Golf—a brand inspired by the outdoor spirit of the game and dedicated to promoting mental health awareness. That journey eventually led him to serve as Tournament Director for the Des Moines Challenge. At the DGPT, Ty focuses on developing a brand that gives back to the disc golf community that has given him so much.

Jeffrey Tocci

DIRECTOR OF BROADCAST TECHNOLOGY

Jeffrey Tocci joined the Tour in 2022 as an associate director for live broadcasts, helping to define standard operating procedures for DGN’s cloud-based control room with a focus on audio and the development of digital assets. During the following 2023 season, Tocci stepped into a hybrid role where he acted as AD/A1 for all DGPT Elite/Elite+/PDGA Major events and Producer for all DGPT Silver events. After an off-season focused on migrating the Disc Golf Network’s OTT platform to a custom solution, his role has evolved to focus on the DGN user experience, bringing new and emerging technologies to the broadcast.

Disc is engrained in Tocci’s DNA. At the age of 3, he learned to throw a frisbee for the first time and hasn’t really stopped since, and he is still playing ultimate to this day. At the age of 15, he started playing disc golf at Borderland State Park in Easton, MA. In 2012, he combined his passion for media and disc golf by volunteering at the Nantucket Disc Golf Course, and in 2019, he developed an interactive virtual map of the course. As a writer, director, editor, and online educator, there isn’t an aspect of production that Tocci hasn’t touched over his 15+ years of professional video experience. He is honored and humbled to be a part of the DGPT team and looks forward to the incredibly bright future of the sport!

Her strong organizational skills and deep understanding of the sport have made her a key asset in streamlining workflows and enhancing the player experience. Christine is particularly passionate about supporting the FPO division, where she focuses on developing meaningful relationships with athletes and fostering a professional and inclusive competitive environment.

Seth Munsey

DIRECTOR OF SAFETY, SECURITY, & PLAYER PERFORMANCE

Seth Munsey is the Director of Safety, Security, and Player Performance at the Disc Golf Pro Tour, where he blends a lifelong dedication to service with a passion for athlete development and event safety. Before joining the DGPT full-time in 2021, Seth served in the U.S. Coast Guard (1999-2003), responding to search and rescue missions and law enforcement calls, later working on an ambulance and as a reserve firefighter. These early chapters instilled a deep sense of responsibility, preparation, and calm under pressure—traits that now shape his work in keeping DGPT events safe and athletes performing at their best. Seth graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Kinesiology and opened his own training gym, Iron Republic. Seth also worked as a strength and conditioning intern with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks. In 2016, he founded Disc Golf Strong, the sport’s first dedicated performance training brand. A member of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), Seth also leads the DGPT’s severe weather planning, banned substance program, and long-term safety and security strategy. Off the course, Seth is a devoted husband and father of two daughters. He’s passionate about helping people grow—whether that’s on the field, in the gym, or as part of a leadership team. His mission at the Pro Tour is clear: protect the people, strengthen the players, and build a culture that lasts.

Kelly Nelson

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Kelly joined the Disc Golf Pro Tour in 2022 as the Human Resources Administrator and has since been promoted to our Human Resources Manager. Her main focus is payroll and benefit administration for the DGPT staff. Kelly brings over a decade of HR experience to the team, and has been a key factor in the improvement of HR processes and offering better benefits for our staff. Kelly became interested in disc golf in 2018 when her husband decided to take his disc bag out of storage since high school. It started with enjoying being outdoors and taking the dog for a walk, to getting excited to visit more courses, to dying a disc as a craft. She put a bag together in 2020 and has been enjoying learning the form of throwing and shopping for discs. Kelly throws exclusively purple discs, with the exception of the one disc she dyed herself.

Destinee Haugabook

RETAIL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Destinee joined the DGPT team in 2023 as a Retail Assistant and worked her way up to Retail Operations Supervisor in 2025. Before disc golf, Destinee worked as an Admissions Counselor at Keiser University in Sarasota Fl. She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Aurora University in 2019 and was a captain on her track & field team where she competed in the long jump, triple jump, high jump, short sprints & relays. Traveling on the road with her family is a dream come true, and she’s looking forward to the continued growth & experiences disc golf has to offer.
