OVERVIEW
Back for the 2026 Disc Golf Pro Tour, Idlewild once again took center stage as one of the sport’s most iconic and demanding stops. Originally crafted by Fred Salaz and Robert Herbert, the course has built its global reputation on unforgiving rough, dramatic elevation shifts, and the winding creek that made precision a necessity on every hole. Each fairway demanded accuracy, strategy, and nerves of steel, while Ohio’s ever-changing summer weather added another layer of challenge. Thanks to the world-class design and flawless tournament execution led by Jason Kerl and Adam Jones of The Nati, the LWS Open at Idlewild once again delivered as a can’t-miss spectacle. There was drama, there were fireworks—and as always at Idlewild, no lead was ever truly safe.
