You voted, and the results are in! We assembled the results from our recent survey for the best facial hair on the pro tour. With the results, we have ranked the best facial hair you see on the course, and we provided the stats that come with those ‘staches. You can find these stats courtesy of our friends at StatMando! Let’s look at the performance statistics of these bearded/mustached competitors in the Disc Golf Pro Tour. This article includes their PDGA rating and the percentage of times they have achieved a top-ten DGPT finish throughout their careers. Also, you can learn more about their stats regarding hitting the cash line and making some serious dough.
Congrats to the top pick by the DGPT fans on the top spot for the Best Facial Hair on the Disc Golf Pro Tour! Justin might be one of the newest members of ZZ Top. Just kidding, but in all seriousness, Justin has a rocking beard that could be as long as James Conrad’s hair. It is fitting that he enjoys disc golf because he is an aerospace engineer! Engineering flight is his career, but making discs fly is his favorite hobby.
2. Silas Shultz
#2 on our list is coming in hot from Louisiana’s capital city! Silas is an up-and-coming player rising in the rankings this season. You can read our article on Silas’ career thus far. Coming in 4th at the 2023 PDGA Champions Cup was the first time he had been featured on a lead card at a pro major. Silas has a consistently full beard which is much shorter than the #1 on the list, but honestly, that isn’t surprising. He is also a filmmaker, and you can check out his amazing videos on his Youtube channel.
3. Max Regitnig
The smoothest voice in the MPO field and one of the top 5 in facial hair! Max is a Canadian with a distinguished fluffy clean beard, which really adds to his overall charm. This season is Max’s second season on the Disc Golf Pro Tour, and his best finish this season was fourth at Discraft’s Cascade Challenge presented by GRIPeq, which has helped him gain in popularity with fans. Max also used to compete in the indoor volleyball Swedish series, too. All around, Max is a strong competitor, and we are excited to see his continued development.
The GOOOOSE is loooose! Aaron rocks one of the most amazing ‘staches on tour! Ron Swanson and Aaron could be twins cousins. Aaron has competed in almost every DGPT tour stop this season, plus the 2023 PDGA Champions Cup. If you haven’t seen him throw discs over the impressive Cesar’s fountain on Urban Disc Golf in Las Vegas with Ezra Aderhold, Levi Hancock, and Luke Samson, you should 100% go watch that. You can also catch him playing in past practice rounds with Drew Gibson on Drew’s YouTube channel.
5. Chandler Fry
Chandler’s beard is full and distinguished, and he could easily pass for Paul Bunyan. He has been rocking his beard for almost a full ten years or so! Chandler also posts Mental Health Monday video in these videos on his Instagram to help spread the message that mental health matters. In these videos, he discusses his mental health and recent disc golf performances—we stan a mental health king.
6. Nathan Queen
Nathan Queen is an impressive left-handed disc golfer from Kernersville, NC, known for his epic fluffy beard. His unique throwing style sets him apart from the predominantly right-handed players in the sport, earning him recognition alongside a select few. Alongside his disc golf skills, Nathan is a proud owner of Sadie, an adorable 10-year-old pup. His journey thus far showcases his determination and passion, inspiring others to embrace their individuality and enthusiastically pursue their passions. Nathan (don’t call him Nate) is also our only finalist with a DGPT Championship win under his belt!
7. James Conrad
Currently Throwing: MVP Disc Sports
PDGA Rating: 1031
DGPT Career Stats: 92 Events | 95% Cashed | 48 top 10’s | 11 podiums | 2 wins

The holy shot man himself, James Conrad sports a consistently full beard and gorgeous locks. If you haven’t seen it, he purchased a bus and renovated it with the help of Chewy Design Co. in Austin, TX, to travel between tour stops. The bus, featured on the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s RIGS series, showcases remarkable details. Chewy Design Co.’s expertise transformed the bus into a stylish and functional mobile home, reflecting James’ unique personality.
8. Drew Gibson
Tattoos, beards, America. Enough said. Drew not only has some fantastic ink, but he also has a great beard! It’s dark, full, and always has clean lines. Drew is not only a professional disc golfer but an avid (ball) golfer! You can see him take on the traditional golf course off the disc golf course. If you’re looking for tips or just want to watch practice rounds with Drew and other pros, and subscribing to Drew’s Youtube channel is a must. Sadly, Drew has been experiencing some elbow issues and will take the rest of this season to rest and heal.
9. Väinö Mäkelä
One of the best mustaches on the tour can’t go unnoticed. What else can’t go unnoticed? Väinö’s multitude of facial expressions during rounds. You can see Vaino playing on the tour and off the course, where he traveled to the Grand Canyon with fellow Finnish professional disc golfers Niklas Anttila and Tuomas Hyytiäinen. Väinö is one of the most well-known Finns on Tour, and has definitely has one of the best mustaches on tour as well.
