The Olympus Disc Golf Course in Brooksville, Florida, welcomed the first stop of the 2026 Disc Golf Pro Tour at Discraft’s Supreme Flight Open presented by Florida’s Adventure Coast. A brief pause for weather gave fans a moment to catch their breath before the discs started flying under Florida’s sunny skies. By the end of the weekend, there was no shortage of skill on display, with plenty of suspense and highlight-reel moments that hinted at an exciting year ahead.
1) Ohn Scoggins’ Hot Round Seals the Win
Ohn Scoggins stole the show at the Supreme Flight Open, taking down her sixth career Tour win with a total of 18-under and a scorching -9 in the final round, the hottest FPO round of the weekend (1023 rated). Starting from the Chase Card, she turned a tight Championship Sunday into a display of dominance, birdieing 8 of the last 10 holes to pull away from the field. Scoggins led in Birdie Percentage at 48%, posted the highest strokes gained from tee to green (15.24), and was one of only three players to keep OB to a minimum of one or less. The win was also a rare feat, marking only the second time in her FPO Major and Elite Series career that she captured a title while starting the final round from behind, the first being her 2025 PDGA Pro Worlds victory. By the end, it was clear she wasn’t just playing to win; she was playing to dominate.

2) Ricky Wysocki Reclaims the Podium
Ricky Wysocki ended a 581-day winless streak at the Supreme Flight Open, claiming his 31st career Tour win with a total of 24-under and an event rating of 1064. He lit up Round 2 with a then-course record of -11 (overtaken in the Final Round by Gannon Buhr), a 1082-rated masterpiece that gave him a three-stroke lead over Paul McBeth and reignited one of disc golf’s greatest rivalries. Championship Sunday started shakily with an early tree hit and a bogey on Hole 1, but Wysocki battled back with a -6 final round, highlighted by a near skip ace on Hole 9 and a 30+ foot eagle putt on Hole 15 that set the tone for the finish. Leading the field in strokes gained from tee-to-green at 17.37, Wysocki proved he isn’t just back, he is back with authority. This win also makes Wysocki the first disc golfer ever to surpass $900,000 in PDGA career earnings!

3) From Monday Qualifier to Top-5 Finish
Chandler Kramer turned heads at the Supreme Flight Open, finishing in the top five for his first-ever top-10 Tour finish after a 2025 season that never saw him crack the top-20. The forehand specialist only made it into the tournament thanks to a Monday Qualifier, sneaking in with a second-place finish behind Randon Latta (only the top-two MPO players in the qualifier go on). From there, Kramer kept the momentum going, earning a spot on the lead card for Championship Sunday and showcasing not only why his forehand is considered one of the best in the sport, but also his putting, finishing the Final Round with a perfect 16/16 C1 Putting performance. What started as a long shot turned into a breakout performance, and the highest event rating of his career at 1053.

Taylor Chocek broke through at the Supreme Flight Open, earning her first-ever Tour event podium with a third-place finish and a career-high event rating of 988. She set the tone early with a short eagle putt on Hole 18 in Round 1 to post a -6, then matched it in Round 2 to earn a spot on the lead card for the final round. Chocek finished the weekend at 14-under, leading the field in strokes gained from putting at 6.59, proving she has the potential to deliver in big moments. With her first podium in the books, fans are excited to watch this young athlete continue to grow, rack up more lead card appearances, and maybe even contend for a title again soon.

5) Gannon Buhr’s Olympus Course Record
Gannon Buhr bounced back in a big way at the Supreme Flight Open, finishing second with a total of 23-under after a slow start that had fans wondering when he would ignite. He exploded on the final round with a course record -13, a 1095-rated round that ranks among the top five of his career, going 17-for-17 in C1 putting, leading the round in parked percentage at 28%, hitting every scramble opportunity, and nailing 95% of his fairways in Round 3. Buhr also tied for the event lead in birdie percentage at 52% (alongside Paul McBeth), proving that even with a shaky start, the world should not forget about the reigning number one.
