For Immediate Release:

Zoo Town Open Round 3 Canceled

June 11, 2023: After lengthy delays and continued monitoring of weather patterns on the ground at the Zoo Town Open, the DGPT has canceled the MPO division’s final round per its weather policies. Play was underway for some competitors but has yet to begin for others. Storms are expected to continue to roll through the area for the remainder of the day, and it is unlikely a window of playable weather will allow for the completion of enough of the round to make it recordable (13 holes by all groups).

In accordance with PDGA rules, the event will conclude as a 36-hole event, and no scores recorded in round 3 by any groups will count. The tournament is now over, making the round 2 scores the final scores for the Zoo Town Open.

Congratulations to Evan Scott, your MPO Champion.
