RATINGS-BASED REGISTRATION
For the 2023 season, the DGPT will have a period of open registration for its regular season events. Registration is tiered, based on PDGA rating. The number of slots available for tiered ratings-based entry will fluctuate based on overall field size. The DGPT will maintain a waitlist for its events based on ratings-based registration and will promote players from the waitlist on a first come, first serve basis.
Links to each registration page will be added below as they become available. Please reach out to DGPT Operations director, Brian Cole, at bcole@dgpt.com with any questions.

IN-SEASON TOUR PASS REGISTRATION
Tour Card holders who do not register for the entire season at once are eligible for pre-event registration throughout the year up until 5:00 PM ET the day before ratings-based registration begins.
To adjust Tour Pass registration, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your player profile on Disc Golf Scene.
- Navigate to the 2023 DGPT Tour Card Registration page.
- Click the “Registered Players” tab
- There should be a message just underneath the ‘About, Register, etc.’ tabs that says, “You are registered for this tournament.”
- Click the “EDIT” button.
- Add any additional events using the checkboxes listed on the edit page.
- Re-enter the registration code.
- Continue the check-out process as usual, paying using the link at the bottom of the page.
Once ratings-based registration begins, all players must register for the event via the standard registration page, irrespective of their status as Tour Card holders.
WEEK OF AND REGIONAL QUALIFYING EVENTS
The 2023 season will also feature week-of and regional qualifying events, allowing access to individual DGPT events to top performers. All players who qualify must meet minimum rating requirements and eligibility requirements in order to register for a DGPT event.
Week Of Qualifying Play-ins
- Each event will hold a week of play-in round to award registration access to the event. These will take place from 7:30 – 10:30 AM local time, on the first official practice day for the event (Monday for 4-round events, Tuesday for 3-round events).
- These may not exceed 4 MPO Spots or 2 FPO spots awarded. Each event will determine the final number of qualifying spots available based on field size.
Regional Qualifiers
- Each event may award (up to) three regional events two (2) MPO and (1) FPO registration spots to the MPO and FPO winners (and runner up in MPO) of their event. If winners in regional qualifiers already have entry into the DGPT event, qualification passes to the player with the next best finish in the division.
- Each event will announce qualifying events once they are decided.
SPONSOR EXEMPTIONS
The DGPT allows a limited number of players to enter each regular season event via sponsor exemption. This method of entry is designed to allow sponsors a chance for their upcoming players to participate in a DGPT event. Registration via sponsor exemption carries a higher registration fee equal to two times the standard fee. Players and sponsors can apply for a sponsor exemption on the Tour’s website. All players who qualify via sponsorship exemption must meet minimum rating requirements and eligibility requirements in order to register for a DGPT event.
