DGPT Silver Series events are worth 25% of the DGPT Points that Elite Series events are. Competitors may keep the top three scores of the Silver Series events they compete at. All Silver Series events are on UDisc Live and SS points in the DGPT point series are added and calculated automatically.

The 2020 Silver Series was originally comprised of 9 events. After COVID-19 the Silver Series was reduced to four events due to cancellations and rescheduling. Silver Series events are in a tier just below the Elite Series DGPT events. They do not have the same added cash, competition, and media standards as the Elite Series, but they are all PDGA A-tier events and held to all A-tier standards.

The DGPT attends each event to assist with event assets, media, and implementation. Live coverage is not standard at Silver Series events and each event determines the media teams that will be in attendance.

Many Silver Series events are striving to join the Elite Series tour. The Silver Series also serves as an option for events that need a break from Elite Series standards due to hosting PDGA majors, or for other reasons.
