Eagle McMahon moves up two spots with his Memorial win. Scott Withers, Jalle Stoor and Paul Oman all move up dozens of spots to start the season.

As older events lose value in the rankings, the numbers of wins and losses goes down and slight percentage shifts occur. Matt Bell advances four spots.

Not much movement during our first week in the off season. We will shift the Power Rankings to monthly updates until things pick up again in late February.

October 23, 2018

Chris Dickerson's win at the DGPT Tour Championship moves him up two spots to 4th, just 1% behind Eagle McMahon in 3rd. Reid Frescura (33) jumps 18 spots with his quarterfinal finish, landing him in the top 50 for the first time ever. At the last event of 2018, Ricky Wysocki closes the gap between he and Paul McBeth from 12 to 8%.

October 16, 2018

Paul McBeth's victory at the Hall of Fame Classic continues his now six week reign as the world's number one ranked player. Michael Johansen (13) and JohnE McCray (12) have strong showings to move up to 9 and 5 spots in our rankings, respectively.

The Power Rankings are back. The new system is much improved, allows for more robust calculations, and will be able to perform some very cool calculations over time. For now though, Paul McBeth has maintained the number one spot on the strength of his USDGC victory. He has been the top ranked player for five weeks in a row.

August 6, 2018

Chris Dickerson wins again in a playoff over James Conrad. He has moved up three spots in the last two weeks and sits in 6th. Seppo Paju's good showin in Europe moved him up three spots. Others with strong showings in this final diffuse week before Ledgestone include Kevin Jones, James Conrad and Michael Johansen.

July 30, 2018

Chris Dickerson's win at the Vettiner Open moves him up a spot past Kevin Jones, who carded a 2nd place at the Des Moines Challenge. James Conrad's 2nd moved his percentage up a tick while Michael Johansen (up 3 spots to 18th) and Andrew Presnell (up 4 spots to 31st) jumped the most. One more off week, then Ledgestone.

July 23, 2018

Paul McBeth's win at Idlewild solidifies his third place ranking. Chris Dickerson and Michael Johansen, who have relatively few events thus far, dramatically improve their win percentages and jump 9 and 14 spots respectively. Kevin Jones' 5th place finish moves him up one spot to 8th, his highest ranking so far.
