Leicester, MA (February 21, 2018) — The Disc Golf Pro Tour, the premier North American disc golf tour, is proud to continue its partnership with Zing, an innovator in the
disc golf mini disc market. Working together, we will continue to push the envelope in our respective industries and look forward to forging a relationship that will bring disc golf and disc golf minis into the future.
As part of the agreement, Zing is the exclusive provider of mini discs to the Pro Tour. Zing’s hit product the “Pico” has been a hit on tour as it doubles as a cap for soda cans. Be watching for Zing’s ads on our website and during live broadcasts. DGPT branded Zing minis will be sold at each stop on the Pro Tour as well as in the Pro Tour store.
About Zing
Zing has existed since 2008 when Craig Myers founded Zing Mini Discs while keeping a plastics engineering position in the medical device industry. In 2015 Craig became unemployed from his plastics engineering position and wondered what his next step would be. In 2017 Zing became a brick-and-mortar with a facility in Indianapolis, Indiana with state of the art molding and decorating equipment. Zing manufactures seven models of mini discs, (Aerofoil, Microfoil, Snipe and Cozmo)  including the newest disc, the Pico. Intended to be a bag tag, a friend discovered the Pico fits perfectly over a soda can to keep the bees out.  All discs are used from 100% recycled plastics, and you will find your order shipped in a recycled cardboard box.  We have the brightest colors including the color changing UV to glow shifting plastic, unique foils, and the new Zing Skin full-foil minis. Craig’s business card reads ‘polymer mixologist’. This is what he does for every mini Zing makes.
