Tour Championship hosted by Prodigy Disc

As announced earlier today by Ultiworld, the Pro Tour is proud to announce its partnership with Prodigy Disc for the Tour Championship. The event will be held at the prestigious New World Disc Golf center and will be hosted by Prodigy Disc.

New World Disc Golf and Prodigy Disc have put together an amazing, four course, venue for the Tour Championships. The courses will feature the DGPT Approved Prodigy Pro Basket and their newly crafted Prodigy Turf Pads. The Tour Championships will be played on their links style 10,000 foot, par 56, disc golf course. It will fairly challenge the best players in our sport. Additionally, the course is setup perfectly for both spectators and cameras.

Prodigy Disc is planning an awesome concurrent amateur event on the other three courses on the property. If you are looking for an excuse to take a Fall vacation to Jacksonville, FL, we’ve got your reason. Jacksonville, in and of itself, is a destination city – Trip Advisor says the beach is the FIFTH best thing to do in Jacksonville!

So come on down, enjoy the best disc golf on the planet, play in a tourney, and enjoy an amazing time in Florida. Here is a quick primer about the exciting Tour Championship format:

Man I like a challenge has much as the next guy, but I think Pra 56 fro a 10,000 foot course is a stretch! 😉

It’s refeshing to see a longer, more realistic course to par ratio. I feel it it’s semi laughable after a 3 or 4 round event that players are sometimes 40-50 under par. Looking forward to watching, if not able to attend!

Hard to find a lot of information about this course, doesn’t seem to be any video. Any chance as we get closer we can get some CCDG or Jomez flyovers?

This is my home course and I’ve done a lot of work, with many others, getting the course ready for play. There will be many more pictures and video forthcoming. Stay tuned to the new, and better, website which is evolving as we speak at http://www.nwdiscgolf.net
