Prospective Pro Tour Events

In 2018, the pro tour will be looking closely at a handful of events to see if they have what it takes to become pro tour stops in the future. As we continue to grow the pro side of the game, the number of events on the pro tour will also grow.

These events, their venues, and the organization of their tournament directors have demonstrated that they could be a good fit for the Pro Tour. Additionally, they like how we are growing the pro side of the game and want to be a part of the team.

Here is a list of some of the events we are looking at for possible expansion of the Pro Tour in 2019 and beyond.

In addition to having many quality components that the pro tour looks for, these events are also open to adjusting their dates to fit into a geographically sensible tour. This is one of our most important needs as we grow the professional side of the game.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the pro tour, please fill out our prospective venues application.

*Disc Golf Colorado is holding two separate events to test two different courses which would become part of a combined event in the future. The Denver Invitational is a new event that will be hosted at Greg Mastriona Golf Courses @ Hyland Hills.

Thanks for including Colorado! The scene is so large here, even the smaller c tiers fill up in hours! I know the spectating and participation would be off the charts! I would also hope you guys check out Minnesota, Blue Ribbon Pines is one of the best courses in the country! Plenty of challenge and beauty! Thanks again for all you do for the sport!
