How To Watch The Innova Open at The 28th Annual Texas State Disc Golf Championships

Disc Golf Network To Broadcast All Three Rounds LIVE!

New course, same awesome tournament! Innova Open at The 28th Annual Texas State Disc Golf Championships has moved from Tyler, Texas, to Houston, Texas, to the Brock Park course. This move to Brock Park is exciting because Brock Park has two courses! The Gold course is where the MPO division will compete, and there is one par five hole on this course that is more than 1,100 feet long with OBs on both sides. We can’t wait to see how the MPO pros take on this tight fairway with lots of trees and distance. The FPO division will take on the Mod Course, which has many exciting holes! One of the ones we are most excited about seeing the pros take on is hole twelve of the Mod course. This challenging left to right wooded hole has a mando on the right side, and if any discs enter that space, the player has to take a stroke and play from the drop zone.

With this new course, there is much to look forward to while watching the live broadcast. But, let’s look back at our past at Texas States! Ricky Wysocki won both the 2022 and 2021 tournaments for the MPO division with very similar scores of -28 and -29. Hailey King won Texas States in 2021 with a score of -7, and Paige Pierce won the 2022 tournament with a score of -17 for the FPO division. Pumped to see if these previous winners can bring it again to win the 2023 Texas States. Want to watch this tournament live in person? You can, there are a lot of tickets still available. Grab them now!
