How To Maintain Your PDGA Member Discount on Disc Golf Network

Pair Your PDGA and Disc Golf Network Accounts by March 25, 2024, to Maintain Your Discount!

If you are a current PDGA member paying a discounted rate for DGN and have yet to link your accounts, you must complete these steps by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, March 25, 2024, or you may see your price reset to the full (non-PDGA member) price.

Attention all Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) members! If you’re currently enjoying the perks of a Disc Golf Network (DGN) subscription at a discounted PDGA member rate, it’s crucial to be aware of upcoming changes that may affect your subscription price. If you are a current PDGA member paying a discounted rate for DGN and have yet to link your accounts, you must complete these steps by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, March 25, 2024. Otherwise, your price may be reset to the full (non-PDGA member) price.

In December of last year (2023), the Disc Golf Network made a big change by moving to a new host platform. This migration to Insys Video Technologies has allowed for new and improved video quality and platform features and has also made it easier for PDGA members to maintain their deep discounts on DGN subscription packages long term. 

Previously, PDGA members had to generate and manually apply a unique discount code each year to maintain their discount. With the new platform, having to find and apply a yearly discount code is a thing of the past for PDGA members. Here’s what you need to know to maintain your discount long-term… 

What’s Changing?

Starting this year (2024), Disc Golf Network requires that all PDGA members link their PDGA and DGN accounts to continue benefiting from the discounted subscription rates. This adjustment is a direct result of our efforts to enhance our service quality and provide a seamless viewing experience for PDGA members.  

  • You won’t have to remember to generate a discount code each year and apply it to your account. 
  • Link your account one time and enjoy a discount as long as your PDGA membership remains current. 

How to Link Your PDGA Account As A Current DGN Subscriber

If you are a current PDGA member paying a discounted rate for DGN and have yet to link your accounts, you must complete these steps by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, March 25, 2024, or you may see your price reset to the full (non-PDGA member) price. 

Don’t worry – you can always connect your accounts after that date, but you’ll be charged the full amount until your account is linked. 

Follow these instructions to pair your account as a current subscriber: 

  1. Open the DGN website (discgolfnetwork.com) in your browser (either desktop or mobile) and login (this must be done on a browser and cannot be done inside of the DGN app on your phone or TV). 
  2. Navigate to Settings (click your email login in the upper right corner, then select Settings from the drop-down menu).
  3. Scroll down to find the PDGA member status section.
  4. Enter your PDGA membership details into the form and confirm by clicking Pair my PDGA account.
  5. Confirm your membership via the email we send you automatically.

After you complete these steps, your PDGA membership will be automatically linked to your DGN account, and your subscription will be switched to a corresponding discounted plan if it wasn’t previously set at that price. 

The change takes effect immediately and any unused funds from the remainder of your old subscription are added to an overpayment balance in the DGN’s billing system. This overpayment is non-refundable and non-transferable and can only be used to pay for future DGN subscription fees.

How To Link Your Account As A New Subscriber (When Purchasing A Subscription)

If you are a current PDGA member interested in purchasing a DGN subscription for the first time (or renewing your subscription for 2024) follow these instructions for connecting your PDGA membership when purchasing your subscription.

Note: this process can only be done via a web browser (it cannot be done inside the DGN app on your phone or TV).

We strongly encourage all PDGA members to ensure their accounts are linked as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to their discounted subscription rates.
