Stat of the Week: Zero Circle 2 Putts Made

Hole 3 at Eureka Lake, a fairly short hole, jumped out at me. There were no Circle 2 putts made. Out of 26 tries. Digging deeper, there were only two putts made from over 20 feet. Paul Ulibarri hit a 25 footers and Curtis Manahan hit a 21 footer.

I was there. I told him to take a provisional, just like I do for everyone that plays the Vibram Open or any other event I run. Anytime there is confusion, play a provisional and take your time to figure it out correctly with the TD after the round.

Catrina Allen and Paul McBeth won disc golf’s richest event in convincing fashion. McBeth won by 12 strokes, blistering the course with a 1093 rated, bogey free, 50 in the final round. Catrina Allen took a strong lead into the final round and shot yet another hot round of the day, winning by eight strokes and cementing her position as the the top ranked woman in the world.
