Greater Atlanta Open — Conyers, Georgia
Before the Elite Series season begins, the Greater Atlanta Open will serve as the first JomezPro Series event of 2027, bringing players and fans to Iron Hoof Disc Golf Course just outside Atlanta in Conyers, Georgia.
Established in 2025, Iron Hoof features a mix of wooded and open fairways, multiple layouts, and significant elevation. Its Gold layout stretches more than 10,000 feet, providing the bones for a refined layout ahead of next year’s competition. The course has quickly established itself as a top venue in the Atlanta area and is currently ranked among the top 100 courses in the world by UDisc and is in the top three courses in the state.
The DGPT is pleased to be coordinating with the city of Conyers to bring the event to the greater Atlanta area. Kameron Kelley (Conyers City Manager) and Travis Hurt (event TD) played a key role in securing the event for 2027, and the DGPT is excited to debut a new course for pro competition ahead of next year’s Elite Series season.
Blue Ridge Championship — Marion, North Carolina
The Blue Ridge Championship will bring the JomezPro Series to North Cove Disc Golf Course, one of the most treasured venues in the North Carolina disc golf community. Now run by Tournament Director Callie McMorran, the event has a history on the DGPT schedule, with a previous appearance on the Silver Series schedule before continuing as a DGPT Q-Series event in 2026.
The tournament’s position on the calendar provides a natural connection between the Queen City Classic in Charlotte and the PDGA Champions Cup in Lynchburg, giving players another opportunity to compete in the Southeast before the first PDGA Pro Major of the season.
Tulsa Open at POSTOAK — Tulsa, Oklahoma
The Tulsa Open at POSTOAK will introduce the DGPT to Oklahoma for the first time, expanding the Tour’s presence into a new Mid-South market at POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat Center.
Tournament Director Kyle Gibson and his team will organize the event, bringing the same resources and experience behind the 2024 Junior World Championships and preparations for the 2027 Pro Masters Worlds. The DGPT is collaborating with Gibson and Align Design to update the existing layout.
Tulsa Sports Commission also played a key role in bringing the event to the city, establishing the Tulsa Open at POSTOAK as the final stop in the Tour’s early-season Mid-South stretch before competition moves west.
Morley Field Classic — San Diego, California
The Morley Field Classic will mark the DGPT’s return to SoCal and serve as the opening event of a five-week West Coast stretch that will culminate with the 2027 PDGA Pro World Championships in Portland, Oregon.
The DGPT has not held an event in the Southern California area since the 2021 Silver Series at Goat Hill, and the Tour is excited to make another stop in one of the most vibrant disc golf communities on the West Coast.
Morley Field – currently a top 10 course in California – was designed by local pro and Disc Golf Hall of Fame member Snapper Pierson in 1977, making it one of the earliest disc golf courses in the world. The course – which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next season – has played an important role in the development of Southern California disc golf, and its history, central location, and connection to the local community make it a natural setting for the Tour’s return to the region.
Thanks to a collaborative effort between the DGPT, Sports San Diego, and Morley Field Disc Golf Course manager Alex Pierson, fans from across the world can look forward to watching top pros battle it out on the West Coast’s most loved courses.
Redwood Open at Brooktrails — Willits, California
The Redwood Open will bring the JomezPro Series to Brooktrails Disc Golf Course in Willits, California, for three rounds of competition among the towering redwoods of Northern California.
Brooktrails grew from a community-led effort that began in 2014, when members of the Basket Beaters Disc Golf Club of Mendocino County installed the first iteration of the course. Over the past six years, Brooktrails Course Liaison Joseph Haggard has helped guide the course’s continued evolution, working to create a pro-level layout while preserving accessibility for players of all skill levels.
The tournament layout – which has included as many as 22 holes in the past – has been refined over the years, with additional hazards and out-of-bounds elements planned to create a demanding 18-hole test for pros next season. The property itself combines disc golf with a nine-hole golf course and uses the surrounding redwood landscape to create a unique tournament setting. Brooktrails ranks among the top three courses in California and the top 100 courses globally on UDisc.
The venue is also home to the Brooktrails Open, which will celebrate its seventh edition this month. The event has become the area’s largest disc golf tournament and an important part of the local community. The Redwood Open will showcase a course shaped by more than a decade of local investment and stewardship while introducing professional competition to one of Northern California’s most visually distinctive disc golf destinations.
Eagles Crossing Open hosted by Go Throw — Hawk Point, Missouri
The Eagles Crossing Open hosted by Go Throw will bring the JomezPro Series to one of the most highly regarded disc golf destinations in the mid-South at Eagles Crossing Disc Golf in Hawk Point, Missouri. Located on a 400-acre property about an hour west of St. Louis, the Eagles Crossing Championship Course is currently ranked among the world’s top 10 courses, coming in at No. 4 in the U.S. and No. 1 in Missouri on UDisc.
Eagles Crossing has already welcomed professional competition several times via the Go Throw Tour, which held its Masters Invitational at the venue in 2025 and 2026. The DGPT will collaborate with Go Throw to host the event, and the Tour is excited to work together in showcasing competition at one of the sport’s most exciting developing destinations.
Greater Toronto Open — Milton, ON, Canada
The Greater Toronto Open will bring the JomezPro Series to Canada for the first time as a part of the newly established partnership between Ledgestone Disc Golf and the Disc Golf Pro Tour.
The event will build on the work of ChainLink Disc Golf (a longtime Ledgestone Disc Golf collaborator) and Conservation Halton, which have worked together for years to grow the sport throughout Southern Ontario through course development, camps, school programs, and community events.
Competition will be on a newly designed course at Area 8 Conservation Area in Milton, ON, Canada. The local team, in coordination with the DGPT team, is excited to showcase the growth of disc golf in Southern Ontario while highlighting a new course and the conservation-focused community work taking place throughout the region.
Building the JomezPro Series
When the DGPT introduced the JomezPro Series in 2026, the goal was to create a new event class that would complement the Elite Series while giving the Tour greater flexibility to work with established tournaments, emerging venues, and communities with long-term ambitions to host professional disc golf events. The series was designed to provide additional opportunities for players to compete, fans to follow professional disc golf, and JomezPro to showcase competition from courses that may not be suited for full-scale live coverage.
The 2027 schedule represents the next step forward in pursuit of that vision. As the DGPT Elite Series continues to evolve, the JomezPro Series will provide a complementary platform for the Tour to continue developing relationships with events and organizers that share its vision for growing professional disc golf. The series also creates opportunities to invest in new venues, markets, and local teams that could play a larger role in the Tour’s future.
