Earning the prestigious title of a Disc Golf Pro Tour All-Star stands as a pinnacle achievement in the realm of our beloved sport. The coveted 1st Card All-Star designation is reserved for the top 4 players in DGPT Points Standings at season’s end. Meanwhile, the intricate selection process for 2nd and 3rd Card All-Stars involves a meticulous three-factor calculation, considering fan votes (⅓), media member input (⅓), and DGPT points standings (⅓).

Those recognized as 2023 DGPT All-Stars will showcase their skills at the upcoming All-Star event in Florida this February—setting the stage for an exhilarating start to the 2024 season. Meet Your 2023 DGPT MPO 1st Card All-Stars:

Launching our 2023 DGPT All-Stars lineup is the 1st Card, a prestigious accolade bestowed upon the top 4 players in DGPT Points Standings by the season’s conclusion. These exceptional 1st Card All-Stars collectively clinched an impressive total of 13 victories spanning DGPT Elite, Silver, Championship, and PDGA Major events, constituting nearly half of all 2023 DGPT events. Leading the Tour in DGPT tour points, the first All-Star spotlight shines on the 2023 DGPT Ken Climo Player of the Year, none other than Calvin Heimburg.

These outstanding 1st Card All-Stars have collectively secured 15 victories across DGPT Elite, Silver, Championship, and PDGA Major events, accounting for over half of all 2023 DGPT events. Meet Your 2023 DGPT MPO 2nd & 3rd Card All-Stars:

Introducing your MPO 2nd Card All-Stars, a formidable lineup which boasts a stellar cast of competitors. Leading the pack is none other than Eagle McMahon who secured victory in the All-Star fan vote. Eagle was selected as an All-Star by 67.8% of voters, narrowly surpassing Matthew “Matty-O” Orum who was selected by 67.6% of voters. Orum and Lizotte found themselves in a dead heat for the top spot in the All-Star media vote, each being selected by an outstanding 91.2% of voters. The collective prowess of the 2nd Card All-Stars resulted in an impressive 7 victories, accounting for nearly a quarter (24.1%) of all 2023 DGPT events.

What’s more, this card showcases players unafraid of mounting comebacks, featuring three chase card winners from the season: Kyle Klein at WACO, Simon Lizotte at the Music City Open, and Matt Orum at the MVP Open.

Joining Barela is  the 2023 MPO Most Improved Player Cole Redalen, and Ezra Robinson, who both celebrated their inaugural Pro Tour victories in 2023 (Redalen at the Ledgestone Open and Ezra Robinson at the American Flying Discs Open). To complete this dynamic lineup, we have the recipient of the 2023 Comeback Player of the Year Award, James Proctor, who adds experience and prowess to this promising group of players.

Following closely is the 2x Pro Tour event champion (Jonesboro and Cascade Challenge), Kat Mertsch, who secured victory in the fan vote with 61.9% support.

Rounding out this stellar roster are past Major Champions Hailey King and Catrina Allen, each boasting 2 Pro Tour victories this season (Catrina Allen at the Las Vegas Challenge and The Preserve Championship, and Hailey King at the Dynamic Discs Open and the MVP Open).
