2021 DISC GOLF PRO TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP – HOW TO FOLLOW

By October 12, 2021No Comments

A wild and exciting 2021 DGPT season has finally brought us to the final event of the year; The Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship, presented by Guaranteed Rate. The Championship will take place again at Hornet’s Nest Park in Charlotte, North Carolina and feature the best touring pros from both the MPO and FPO divisions. In the MPO division, we will see 32 players battle it out, and in the FPO division, 16 players will compete for a chance at the record payout and prestige that comes with being crowned the Disc Golf Pro Tour Champion. From October 14th through the 17th, these 48 players will battle their way through the tight tree lines of the notoriously challenging Hornet’s Nest Park for a chance to win their share of $250,000 and the grand prize of $30,000.

MPO Competitors:

UPDATE: Eagle McMahon has dropped from the tournament due to injury. He will be replaced with Aaron Gossage and each competitor will move up a seed.

In the MPO division, all of the big names will be at Hornet’s Nest, including many mainstays and several rising stars. DGPT Tour Series Season points leader, Ricky Wysocki, 2020 DGPT Champion Kevin Jones, and 2-Time DGPT Championship winner Chris Dickerson, as well as World Champion James Conrad and the USDGC Champion Paul McBeth are just a few of the competitors who will be out on the course this weekend. Will it be one of them, or will it be the likes of other recent tournament winners like Adam Hammes, Kyle Klein, or even DGPT stalwarts like Paul Ulibarri or Jeremy Koling who will be the one to hoist the trophy?
