2023 marks the 14th year of the Music City Open (MCO) and will be on Easter Weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. MCO was started in 2010 and has continued to grow each year. The Tournament Director Zachary Hoy and Assistant Tournament Director Jay Skinner are most proud of the community, staff, and volunteers who help continue improving this tournament each year. There is a thriving disc golf scene in Music City, and many of the Music City Disc Golf members help support this tournament. This year the title sponsor is Lone Star Disc! There have been several MCO champions over the years, including two wins each by Catrina Allen (2011, 2019) and Paige Pierce (2013, 2015), but Chris Dickerson native Tennessean, has won it the most times with four MCO wins (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022).

In 2023, a total of 166 players (MPO and FPO combined) competed for the $80,003 purse of this year’s event. Congratulations to our 2023 MPO Champion, Simon Lizotte, for shooting a 1037 rated round at -23 and to our 2023 FPO Champion, Kristin Tattar, for shooting a 987 rated round at -7.
