Overview
Making its return as a DGPT+ event, the Open at Austin was held at Sprinkle Valley (Thursday and Friday) and Harvey Penick (Saturday and Sunday). The Disc Golf Pro Tour also welcomed Barbasol, America’s #1 shaving cream brand, as the title sponsor, continuing a partnership that began in 2022. The Tour also partnered with Home2 Suites Austin East as the event’s presenting partner, providing convenient accommodations just minutes from the courses for fans, players, vendors, and staff. The Course
SPRINKLE VALLEY
Established in 2023, Sprinkle Valley Disc Golf Course is a premier 18-hole destination offering a dynamic and challenging experience for players. Designed by local expert Mike Olse, the course is celebrated for its well-maintained tees and greens, innovative layout, and difficulty tailored to mid-level and experienced players. Highlights include long holes with strategic ‘island’ landing zones, engineered obstacles, and baskets set on elevated islands. Harvey Penick Disc Golf Course in Austin, Texas, is a well-known 18-hole course set on a former ball golf property.
