OVERVIEW
Since debuting in 2023 as Washington’s first-ever DGPT event, the Cascade Challenge has quickly become a fan and player favorite on the West Coast swing. It began as a DGPT Silver Event in 2023, became a Q-Series Qualifier in 2024, and elevated to a DGPT Elite Series event in 2025 before becoming the second JomezPro Series stop in 2026.
Hosted at Shelton Springs Disc Golf Course, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic wooded courses, the event offers a welcome contrast to the long golf course layouts players face throughout the West Coast swing. Shelton rewards precision, creativity, and controlled shot shaping over pure distance, challenging the world’s best to execute on tight but fair forest lines.
