OVERVIEW
The 2025 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship celebrated its 10th year as the ultimate finale to the DGPT season, delivering an epic showdown. Competition was held at an updated version of New London Tech (Thursday & Friday) and at Ivy Hill Golf Club (Saturday & Sunday).
The DGPT Championship served as the season finale — only the best made it in. Players earned their spots through the DGPT World Standings, with an additional path through the Playoffs. A strong finish at the Green Mountain Championship could secure a ticket to the MVP Open, and from there, top finishers outside the cut line could play their way into the Championship itself. In total, 32 MPO and 20 FPO players battled for the crown in Bedford County/Lynchburg, VA.

The Course
NEW LONDON TECH
Nestled in Bedford County just outside Lynchburg, New London Tech DGC is an elite, 18-hole championship-style course designed by Paul McBeth and opened in April 2021. This course winds through wooded terrain across roughly two miles and stands out with custom McBeth Signature Series baskets—exclusive to his designs. Highly rated by players, it’s renowned for its challenging layout, dramatic elevation, and technical shot requirements, earning top rankings both statewide and globally.
After a temporary closure in spring 2025 to relocate nine holes due to nearby development, the course reopened in late May with fresh tee pads, new fairways, improved bridges, and an upgraded parking area.
IVY HILL
Ivy Hill is a striking, tournament-style disc golf layout hosted at Ivy Hill Golf Club in Bedford County, just outside Lynchburg, Virginia. Designed for elite competition, this temporary 18-hole course—established in 2023—showcases dramatic elevation changes, demanding long shots, and a scenic stadium-style finish that features three par-5s and a dramatic uphill finale over water.
