ABOUT THE LWS OPEN AT IDLEWILD
Since Idlewild’s initial creation by Fred Salaz and Robert Herbert, it was clear that there was something special in the making. Over the past 15 years, Idlewild has been widely hailed as one of the best courses in the world. The meteoric growth of the Idlewild Open stems equally from the amazing course as well as the amazing management of the event that comes from fellow owners at The Nati, Jason Kerl and Adam Jones.
This year, a grand total of 151 players, encompassing both MPO and FPO divisions, competed for a total purse of $105,768. Congratulations to your MPO Champion Joseph Anderson and FPO Champion Ohn Scoggins! Check out the highlights from this year’s edition of the LWS Open at Idlewild.

The Course
IDLEWILD
Idlewild Disc Golf Course, located in Burlington, Kentucky, is renowned as one of the most challenging and prestigious courses in the world. It features a demanding layout with long, technical holes that weave through dense woods, water hazards, and significant elevation changes. The course challenges the best players in the world with its 18 hole, par 67 layout. From its 1000′ par 5 to its tight 280′ holes, from its long straight bombs that require landing zone accuracy to its large number of doglegs that require intense shot shaping, this course is always ready to test the best.
