For Immediate Release:

MVP Open at Maple Hill Severe Weather Update

Round One Play Currently Suspended

September 22nd, 2022:

Due to severe weather conditions, including heavy rain and lightning, on the ground during the first round of the 2022 MVP Open at Maple Hill, play was suspended from 7:56 AM ET to 9:45 AM ET in line with DGPT weather policies.

Due to the potential for continued severe weather and deteriorating course conditions, the DGPT suspended round one play again at 11:35 AM ET.

“Another band of weather producing rain is moving through the area,” said DGPT Tour Director & CEO, Jeff Spring. “Once the weather has moved through the area, the course crew and DGPT operations team will assess conditions and work on the course. Once we deem the course playable, round one play will resume.”
