UPDATE – June 12, 2025: The 9Hill Open has been cancelled this year, and thus has been removed from the 2025 DGPT Europe Q-Series schedule. We appreciate the efforts of the 9Hill team and hope to see the event return in the future.

Competitors will now have five Q-Series events to choose from in 2025 and will count their top three finishes towards the 2025 DGPT Europe Standings. For more information on the DGPT Europe Q-Series, dgpt.com/q-series-europe.

Full 2025 Q-Series Schedule Announced

Q-Series Heads to Europe

January 31, 2025: Following the release of a preliminary schedule last fall and a final call for bids from the disc golf community, the Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is pleased to announce the full Qualifying Series (Q-Series) schedule for the 2025 season.

After closing bids last December, the Tour has awarded Q-Series status to fifteen additional PDGA A-Tier events in North America and Europe for a total of twenty regular season Q-Series events this season. A final update with further details on the Q-Series Finales in both the U.S. and Europe will be released at a later date.

As announced alongside the larger 2025 season schedule last summer, the Q-Series designation will be used by DGPT Europe this year in replacement of the Silver Event designation. The European Q-Series will run separately from the North American Q-Series (U.S. & Canada), focusing on awarding European Tour Cards.

What Is The Q-Series?

The Q-Series is designed to provide up-and-coming FPO and MPO competitors with an additional merit-based pathway to earn a Tour Card for the following season. A Tour Card allows players to pre-register for the entire season via a Tour Pass, guarantees them representation via the DGPT Player Council, and grants them other benefits and opportunities associated with the Tour Card program. In short, a Tour Card represents a player’s ability to fully participate in the Tour each year, and the Q-Series represents an opportunity for new and upcoming players to earn that privilege.

How The Q-Series Works

The Q-Series is comprised of a set of PDGA A-Tier events taking place throughout the season, culminating in a Q-Series Finale. Competitors can earn a Tour Card based on their Finale finish or via points earned throughout the season, tracked via the North American Q-Series Standings and the DGPT Europe Points Standings, both of which are separate and distinct from the DGPT World Standings. A complete update to the Tour’s 2025 points system will be released in the coming weeks.

Complete information on each Q-Series can be found on DGPT.com at the links below.
