Disc Golf Network To Host Paige Pierce Documentary Limited Screening

Fierce will be available via pay-per-view with a 50% discount for current subscribers

July 31st, 2022: The Disc Golf Pro Tour is excited to announce a collaboration with touring professional player Paige Pierce to host a limited screening of her recently completed feature-length documentary, Fierce, premiering August 10th, 2022 on the Disc Golf Network.

Fierce follows the 2021 tour of 5x world champion Paige Pierce in her quest for a record-breaking 6th Professional World Title. Set against the backdrop of a rapidly growing female division, Fierce tells a story of a legacy of dominance underscored by a fight for equity and recognition. 

Pierce, who has been working to promote and distribute the documentary to an international audience, is excited to partner with the Disc Golf Network to give exclusive early access to the most dedicated fans in the sport.

“This limited showing on Disc Golf Network is a critical step next in the process of achieving mainstream distribution for the documentary,” said Pierce. “The goal right now is to show that the disc golf community is hungry for this kind of story and that the film would do well with a wider audience. Partnering with Disc Golf Network is a natural fit to make this happen and I can’t wait for my fans to have a chance to see the film.”

How To Watch Fierce 

The film will be made available via pay-per-view with tickets going on sale starting Wednesday, August 3rd. Fans can purchase access for $11.99 and current Disc Golf Network subscribers can enjoy a 50% discounted price of $5.99. Subscribers will receive a discount code via email on August 2nd or can email fiercefilm@dgpt.com for information on how to access the discount. Fans who purchase tickets will have access to the film in perpetuity, but ticket sales will end on Sunday, September 4th – the day after the conclusion of the 2022 PDGA Pro World Championships. 

Additionally, fans who purchase a ticket prior to the premiere date of August 10th will have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A session featuring Paige and director Wilson Hansen. This Q&A will be hosted on the Disc Golf Network at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM PT on August 10th and will be available for viewing on demand after the fact. Instructions for how to submit questions for the Q&A will be included in the ticket purchase confirmation email.
