Disc Golf Pro Tour Unveils First Two Stops of the 2026 Season

August 20, 2025: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is pleased to present a sneak peek at the first two events of the 2026 Elite Series schedule.

EARLY SEASON SNEAK PEEK
2026 Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series Schedule

Tournament Venue Location Date
Supreme Flight Open Olympus Disc Golf Course Brooksville, FL Feb. 27 – March 1
Big Easy Open Parc des Familles Jefferson Parish, LA  March 13 – 15

The 2026 season will begin at the Supreme Flight Open, which is held at the Olympus Disc Golf Course in Brooksville, FL. The Olympus venue has hosted the DGPT season opener since 2024, and is now co-owned by six-time PDGA Pro World Champion Paul McBeth and Major League Baseball pitcher and passionate disc golfer Dylan Cease.

Known for its stark elevation changes and unique terrain, Olympus is the #1 course in Florida, and is ranked in the top 100 courses in the World on UDisc. More information about the history of the course and the McBeth and Cease story is available here.

After opening the season at the Supreme Flight Open, the Tour will head to Jefferson Parish, LA, for the first-ever Disc Golf Pro Tour event in Louisiana. This brand new tournament – the Big Easy Open – will be held at Parc des Familles, the #1 course in Louisiana, designed and newly updated by the HouckDesign team.

The tournament will receive strong support from Jefferson Parish, which is a part of the Greater New Orleans Area and hosts a diverse community sprawling the southern shore of Lake Pontchartrain and ending sixty miles later on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.

“We’re thrilled to host this prestigious event in Jefferson Parish and look forward to building a strong, lasting partnership with the Disc Golf Pro Tour for years to come,” said Violet Peters, President & CEO of Visit Jefferson Parish. “The tremendous exposure Jefferson Parish will receive primes the continued growth of sports tourism for the benefit of our community.”

“Jefferson Parish and the Greater New Orleans Disc Golf community have been wonderful to work with during the development of this event,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT CEO and Tour Director. “We’re thrilled to bring the Disc Golf Pro Tour to their neck of the Bayou. The investment into the pro competition layout at Parc Des Families is remarkable, and HouckDesign has created a venue that will be a jewel of the South for years to come.”

The disc golf community can learn more about the team behind this new event and the planned updates and improvements to Parc des Familles in this article: Louisiana Joins the Tour: The Big Easy Open Arrives in 2026.

The full 2026 Elite Series schedule will soon be announced alongside the sale of a limited number of 2026 early bird VIP passes, which will be offered at the lowest price for the whole season.
