Disc Golf Pro Tour Fills Out Staff

Jeffersonville, VT – January 20, 2020: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) has filled out its staff for the 2021 season with the addition of three new hires. Dustin Juliano will scale up to a full-time role as Graphic Designer & Brand Manager, Brian Cole will join the team as Operations & Logistics Manager, and Trent Nicholl will come on as a Media & Operations Coordinator.

Dustin Juliano has been with the DGPT since its inception and has seen his responsibilities grow each season. Dustin will use his expertise in brand management and graphic design to improve the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s on-course and digital assets.

Brian Cole is from Portland, Oregon, and serves as the President of the Stumptown Disc Golf Club. Cole has worked with DGPT stops in the past, including the Portland Open, and was part of the team that helped with operations in the first year of the Tour in 2016. Brian will now be part of the touring team and manage operations and logistics during Tour stops.

Trent Nicholl worked with the DGPT for several events last season. As a Media & Operations Coordinator, Trent will be part of the media team that will film 25 live events during the 2021 season.

DGPT CEO Jeff Spring is excited about the team he has assembled this offseason.

“We’ve set our goals high for the 2021 season, and we’re excited to scale up to meet them. With over double the live events on the Disc Golf Network, new events on Tour, and a rapidly growing sport and fan base we need a strong team to execute our tour and media operations. I’m very pleased to be bringing on skilled and experienced professionals to help produce great results.”

While this marks the completion of the DGPT’s staff hiring for 2021, there are more contract hires in the works as the Tour looks to round out the recurring staff for media and operations that will assist with the 2021 schedule.

The Disc Golf Pro Tour begins February 25 with the Las Vegas Challenge and can be seen live on the Disc Golf Network.
