DGPT Adds Four New EuroTour Events in 2026

European Competition Schedule Now Includes Eight Tournaments Across Five Countries

January 13, 2026: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is excited to announce the addition of four new European tournaments to the 2026 schedule, which now round out a full season of eight tournaments across Estonia, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, and Poland next year.

As previously announced alongside the 2026 DGPT Elite Series schedule, the Tour will not use the Q-Series designation in Europe this year. Instead, the DGPT is awarding a simplified EuroTour event classification to an additional set of tournaments, which will operate under PDGA A-Tier status and serve as the continuation of a full European schedule designed for the regional player and fan community.

With the addition of four tournaments under this EuroTour classification, the full and total 2026 European Tour schedule is as follows.

2026 DGPT EUROPEAN COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Includes 4 DGPT EuroTour events, plus the previously announced 3 DGPT Elite Series and 1 PDGA Pro Major

“From the beginning, our goal has been to build a complete, meaningful Tour schedule for the European community,” said Mikko Wikman, DGPT Europe Operations Manager.“With the addition of four new EuroTour events to the 2026 schedule, this year will feature eight total events across five countries, all connected through a singular European Points Standings. We’re proud to offer a full season’s worth of competition that goes beyond the Elite Series and Major schedule. The overall season is built for European players, and also provides a full month of events where the full touring field – from the U.S. and Europe – will compete together at three DGPT Elite Series tournaments and the European Open.

The EuroTour is intended to be a subsidiary competition circuit designed for European pros who aren’t playing on the full Elite Series schedule or traveling to the States for a significant period of time each year,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT CEO and Tour Director.“While the naming and branding conventions have evolved since the Tour expanded into Europe, the EuroTour event designation recognizes and reflects the Tour’s primary goal of supporting the development of the European disc golf scene for both players and the fans they inspire.”

The European schedule will begin at the Pärnu Open, hosted in coordination with an event team led by Kristin and Silver Lätt, and serving as a great warm-up tournament ahead of the European Open, which will take place in Estonia at the Tallinn Song Grounds festival

Following the Major, a combined U.S. and European field will compete at three DGPT Elite Series events hosted at some of Europe’s best venues. The Swedish Open, which hosted a 2024 Elite Series, will precede the Ale Open, which takes place at the #2 course in the World (Ale Disc Golf Center). The Heinola Open (1) will cap off the Elite Series portion of the Tour on the same courses used for the 2025 Finnish National Championships (Kippasuo). As the Elite Series returns to the States, the EuroTour schedule will continue through the end of the summer months.

An updated DGPT Europe points series structure will be announced soon. Elite Series and PDGA Pro Majors will receive live coverage on the Disc Golf Network, and the rest of the EuroTour schedule will have post-produced coverage.
