2026 Q-Series Schedule Announced
Competition Calendar Includes 23 Events Across 19 States and British Columbia
February 12, 2025: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is pleased to announce the full Qualifying Series (Q-Series) schedule for the 2026 season.
After closing bids in December of 2025, the Tour has awarded Q-Series status to 23 PDGA A-Tier events in North America. This is the largest ever slate of Q-Series events in the U.S. & Canada, and was developed with the intention of providing up-and-coming competitors with a merit-based pathway to Tour Card qualification at a regional level.

Earning A Tour Card Via the Q-Series
After review of previous Q-Series seasons and taking feedback from participating players, the Tour has adopted a new Tour Card qualification system, which will focus exclusively on the final results of the Q-Series Standings and award access to the 2027 Tour Card program as follows.

Players will keep their top three Q-Series event finishes towards their season-long points total, which will be tracked on statmando.com/rankings via the DGPT Q-Series Standings.
This new system will award eight players with full Tour Card Holder status for the 2027 season. A Tour Card allows players to pre-register for the entire season via a Tour Pass, guarantees representation via the DGPT Player Council, and grants other benefits and opportunities associated with the Tour Card program. In short, a Tour Card represents a player’s ability to fully participate in the Tour each year, and the Q-Series represents an opportunity for new and upcoming players to earn that status.
With Tour Card access now being handled exclusively via the Q-Series standings, the Tour has eliminated the Q-Series Finale from its competition structure, making it easier for players to earn a Tour Card via competition in their region instead of having to travel across the country for a late-season tournament.
For players who finish well on the Q-Series standings but do not earn a Tour Card via their final placement, the DGPT strongly encourages the submission of a Partial Tour Card exemption application. This application will be made available at the end of the season and represents another opportunity for competitors to highlight their Q-Series success and gain access to pre-registration for a portion of the following season, and enjoy other select Tour Card benefits.
Player Eligibility
To participate in a DGPT Q-Series tournament, all competitors must meet the PDGA player requirements for A-Tiers and follow any other requirements set forth by the Tournament Director. In rare circumstances, PDGA events with other sanctioning levels may also be awarded Q-Series status, in which case players must only meet those associated eligibility requirements.
As in years past, competitors already qualified for a full 2027 Tour Card may participate in 2026 Q-Series events, but will be skipped over in awarding any Q-Series points.
