Disc Golf Pro Tour Expands Free Live Coverage
February 23, 2026: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is excited to announce its live media plan for the 2026 season, which will include complete Disc Golf Network (DGN) coverage of over twenty tournaments this season across the United States and Europe.
Thanks in large part to Powerball’s recently announced partnership, the Tour is excited to debut several changes that will result in a host of additional free live coverage viewing opportunities for fans throughout the season.
Previously, the Tour has provided free first-round coverage on its YouTube channel, with the remainder of each tournament being broadcast on the Disc Golf Network. Now, in an effort to bring more fans into the action each day, the Tour will broadcast the first hour of each round for free on YouTube, with the entirety of the first round still being offered at no cost on DGN itself. Fans can simply create a free account at www.discgolfnetwork.com and choose DGN Free from the list of available options to enjoy complete round one coverage without having to enter payment information.
This expanded free coverage initiative is supported directly by Powerball and will begin taking effect at the start of the year, meaning that fans can look forward to bonus live coverage on YouTube for all three days of the upcoming season opener at the Supreme Flight Open. The Supreme Flight Open will also have full round one coverage on YouTube, with the Big Easy Open being the first event where full round one free coverage will be exclusively available via DGN.
“Thanks to Powerball’s support, we are thrilled to be offering all fans an opportunity to catch some live disc golf action every day of competition this year,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT CEO.“Beyond giving the whole disc golf community a chance to tune in each day, we also see this as an opportunity for fans to try out the Disc Golf Network platform for free, where we will still be providing complete round one coverage at no cost.”
The Network will continue to offer Standard and Pro subscription package options, both of which include full access to all DGPT, DGPT+, and Powerball Playoff events. Both packages will also include access to watch the PDGA Champions Cup, U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship, and PDGA Pro Worlds. Pro subscribers will have exclusive access to the final two PDGA Pro Majors: the European Open and the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC). Pro subscribers will also have exclusive access to the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship, a PDGA A-Tier that runs alongside the USDGC.
Additionally, the Tour will continue to offer a deep discount on subscription options for PDGA members. Current PDGA members can simply pair their PDGA and DGN accounts to unlock lower pricing, and their discount will automatically be retained so long as their PDGA membership remains current. PDGA members can also opt for free access to a basic version of the Disc Golf Network that will receive complimentary viewing access for the Supreme Flight Open, USWDGC, two rounds of the PDGA Pro World Championships, and the LWS Open at Idlewild.
