For Immediate Release:
2024 Tour Card Exemption Application Now Open
Tour Pass Registration Open for Qualified Competitors
November 16, 2023: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) has opened an application for 2024 Tour Card exemptions. Applications are due by December 8th at 11:59 PM ET (U.S.).
The DGPT will award twelve MPO and six FPO Tour Card Exemptions for the 2024 season. Exemptions will be awarded based on 2023 performance (DGPT points and PDGA rating) in addition to considerations related to international participation and injury. Competitors will also have the opportunity to provide a short narrative and request support from the DGPT in acquiring a travel visa to compete in the U.S. should they need it.
The DGPT will also award several partial exemptions (“Silver Tour Cards”) based on applications submitted for full Tour Card exemptions. Silver Tour Cards give competitors access to 6 of the 20 regular season DGPT events, including international tournaments. Silver Cards include the same on-site benefits of the Tour Card program plus other select benefits.
