DGPT Europe Points Series Details

In addition to these schedule additions, the DGPT is pleased to announce the final points structure for the stand-alone 2024 DGPT Europe points series.

As previously announced, the DGPT will maintain two points standings: a DGPT World Standings that awards spots in the 2024 DGPT Championship and a stand-alone DGPT Europe points standings. DGPT Europe will not have a separate Tour Championship in 2024 but will instead use its stand-alone points standings to award bonus payouts and 2025 Tour Cards to top finishers.

The details of the DGPT Europe stand-alone points series are as follows.

2024 DGPT Europe Points Series

Event Class Points Weight Number of Events Counting Towards Points Series Total Points Available
Silver (PDGA A-tier) 50% → A win is worth 50 pts Best 4 out of 6* 250*
DGPT (Elite Series) 100% → A win is worth 100 pts Best 3 out of 5 300
PDGA Pro Major 200% → A win is worth 200 pts 1 of 1 (2024 European Open) 200

*While DGPT Europe will not have its own Tour Championship in 2024, it will recognize the Baltic Disc Golf Championship (the final 2024 Silver event of the European swing) as the DGPT Europe finale. Competitors will receive double points at this event.

The DGPT will announce a complete 2024 DGPT World Standings points structure (separate from the European points series) in early 2024.

DGPT Europe Tour Pass

While a full DGPT Europe tour card is not being implemented for 2024, the DGPT will make a tour pass available for European players wishing to compete at multiple European events.

“The 2024 DGPT Europe tour pass is a lighter version of the standard DGPT Tour Card,” said Mikko Wikman, DGPT Europe’s Operations Manager. “Our focus is ensuring smooth registration for players wanting to play multiple events. The DGPT Europe tour pass will allow European competitors to easily register for all 2024 European DGPT Elite Series and Silver events in one place.”

“Tour pass holders will also be able to participate in certain ongoing DGPT Europe development projects, submit feedback and talk with DGPT Europe staff, and receive prioritized positioning for press conferences, feature cards, and other media opportunities,” said Juha Kytö, DGPT Europe’s Media Director.”

The DGPT will make the European tour pass available early in 2024. The following players are eligible for a pass and will receive invites from the DGPT Europe team.
