For Immediate Release:

2024 DGPT All-Star Weekend Details Announced

December 20, 2023: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is pleased to announce an updated location and adjusted format for the 2024 All-Star Weekend scheduled for February 16 – 18.

The event will now take place at the Olympus Disc Golf Course (formerly known as Gran Canyon) in Brooksville, FL. The same venue will host the 2024 DGPT regular-season opener, the Invitational, the following weekend.

The newly announced 2024 DGPT All-Star players will, as in previous years, be invited to compete in a points-based team format throughout the weekend. Team captains will draft a team of players from the All-Star roster to face off in both singles and doubles stroke play competitions. At the end of the weekend, the team with the most points is declared the winner.

The skills challenge, a fixture of the All-Star Weekend for several years, will return in a new capacity. Instead of counting the skills challenge results toward overall team points, the putting, distance, and accuracy contests will be hosted as a separate exhibition event, with a small number of additional touring players invited to participate alongside the All-Stars. This slightly expanded field will compete for individual prizes in each category before all eyes turn to doubles (Saturday) and singles (Sunday).

Spectate in Person or Watch Live on the Disc Golf Network

All-Star weekend tickets will be available in January, with single-day and multi-day passes available for purchase. Fans who purchased an early-bird ticket should check their email for additional details on the updated location. Fans can follow the DGPT on its Eventbrite page to get notified when tickets are released. The entire weekend, including the skills challenge, will be broadcast LIVE on the Disc Golf Network, with two shows planned for each day of competition. A live team draft will be streamed on the Disc Golf Network prior to the start of the event.
