2021 DGPT Regional Representative Program

The Disc Golf Pro Tour is excited to announce a new Regional Representative Program for the 2021 season. The DGPT seeks individuals enthusiastic about the Tour and willing to volunteer as ambassadors for the organization. Being a regional representative comes with a list of perks, including insider information, behind-the-scenes access at events, and a DGPT rep merchandise kit.

Regional representatives are given additional insight into DGPT goals and objectives to help organize tour initiatives locally and to serve as boots-on-the-ground when the tour comes to each region. Regional reps help lay the groundwork in coordinating volunteers and sponsors on a local level for Disc Golf Pro Tour events. Representatives who attend Pro Tour events are also compensated for their time at Pro Tour stops.

The Disc Golf Pro Tour is excited to provide this opportunity to passionate disc golf advocates and organizers for an inside look at the DGPT while also helping grow the sport on a local level. We see regional representatives as an extension of the Disc Golf Pro Tour team to raise awareness of the DGPT in their regions. We are looking forward to building strong regional support teams. Please note, if you are involved with existing DGPT event teams, please disclose that information as we will prioritize keeping volunteers connected to their event teams.

Interested Disc Golf Pro Tour enthusiasts should submit a cover letter with relevant information regarding which regional representative role they’d like to fill to apply@dgpt.com.

Submissions should also include a brief “disc golf” resume, including relevant work or disc golf experience for the position, including their history with their local disc golf club or in the sport. Submissions for DGPT regional representatives are open until filled. The Disc Golf Pro Tour will follow-up to schedule initial meeting times with regional representatives in early February.
